I've downloaded the series "normal people" and filebot identified as both Os Normais and Normal People

Why would it take the latter as the correct result?

Looks like there's multiple shows called "Normal People", with "Os Normais" AKA "Normal People" ultimately getting the pick for some reason. Perhaps because it's more established. Perhaps it's more popular. Perhaps the combination of a number of factors conspired against the correct match in this case.

In this case, you'll want to look into the --filter option to add a few rules to help FileBot pick the right match:
