FileBot

Hi Folks,
Sorry to bug you - BUT I've updated to MacOS 11. FileBot 4.9.1 from the App Store now misbehaves when trying to rename the files. I'm hoping 4.9.2 will resolve this.

Could you advise when the App Store will be receiving 4.9.2? I can't run it as it's asking for a licence file which I do not have.

FileBot does not currently support macOS Big Sur due to macOS Big Sur compatibility issues with 3rd party dependencies. The release date of FileBot 4.9.2 has been postponed indefinitely since we'll want to include macOS Big Sur support with the next big release, and so we wait.


Note that the Mac App Store version of FileBot will never ask for a license, since Mac App Store purchases are managed by Apple via your Apple account.
