CLip license device ID does not match the device ID

Hi:

Ran into "CLip license device ID does not match the device ID". Win 10 home, desktop, i7-3770 cpu @ 3.4 GHZ, 32 GB RAM. Already did windows app store sign in/out, does not solve the problem. Also googled, says "universal license" might help, just FYI.

The filebot app worked yesterday, but no go today. Nothing changed between yesterday and today.

:arrow: I can't really help you with Windows Store issues. You'll have to contact Microsoft Support for that.


I can offer a universal license as a temporary solution, i.e. workaround Windows Store issues by not using the Windows Store for the time being. By this time next year the problem will probably have resolved itself with some upcoming Windows Update:
