I just started using FileBot and looking forward to checking out all of the functionality and scripting. I use Plex and I am wondering what's the purpose for downloading SFV files and does Plex actually use them? Also do people have Sfv file for each media asset or have SFV fine for combined assets, such as all episodes in a season? Thank you

sfv / md5sum / sha256sum are plain text files that contain a list of file paths with corresponding checksums that allow you to verify that a set of files has not been corrupted or modified.

 Plex probably does not use checksum files because I cannot think of any reason why Plex would use checksum files.
