I have been using FB for a long time, and until the last update everything worked fine. But now it's started to delete the empty folders after renaming which is really annoying.

I have it set up so that new items are stored in "New Movies" and "New Series" folders, which FB scans and then renames and moves into "Movies" and "Series" folders. I don't want to create the "New" folders every time I've renamed something, but I can't figure out how to get it to stop.

Any help would be appreciated.

Note that folder names such as "New Movies" and "New Series" are exempt from empty folder auto-prune. Are you sure that these are the exact folder names you're using?


You can create an arbitrary non-hidden file in the folder. Thus the folder will never be empty nor deleted.

What were the Danish names for your folders?
