Extra tags missing after manual matching

Using the pattern: `{plex.derive{{" [$vf $source $vc $group]"}}`
So I have 2 files:
"Something Action 2007 Eng Subs 1080p [H264-mp4].mp4"
and
"Something Action 2007 1080p [H264-mp4] English.srt"
In this case the matching of the subtitle was correct, but the matching of the video file was not (it matched to a different movie in the collection), so I pressed "Edit Match" and selected the correct one. Now my video file was renamed to "Something (2007)" and the subtitle file was renamed to "Something (2017) [1080p BluRay AVC Counter].eng"..
I would of presumed that given the filenames being so similar, the video file should have the tags at the end attached too. My current presumption is that the manual matching is not adding the tags, although I might be wrong and something else might be at fault.
Any help would be appreciated.
