Every proposed episode name is very different from the original name, which includes the correct episode name. What am I doing wrong? I get these results regardless of the TV DB I fetch.

The 1x01 number takes precedence, so files are matched accordingly:

In this case, The Looney Tunes Show is wrong altogether. Because Episode 8 Ball Bunny is listed as Looney Tunes 1950x14.

At this point, there is no easy solution. You could try the Match by Episode Title technique. Might work. Might not. But worth a try if you have lots of episodes. If all else fails, and don't have too many files, then you can always match files manually. Please read FAQ #2 for details on that.
