Firstly I'm LOVING AMC and it's features (especially the Plex auto update feature!)

I've just tried to index my current music collection and although it did a pretty stella good job I had an issue with compilation albums being split into their respective Artists.

Now this wouldn't be an issue but if I download say the "UKF Dubstep 2013" album (don't judge me on my music taste please!!!) into a folder already full of music I now have to go hunting through all those artist folders to find each song before dragging them into iTunes.

Is there a way to make AMC put them into the correct Album folder instead of Artist/Album? or can this be done for say "Various Artists"?

Any help greatly appreciated.

You can try and play with the format. Try the format editor and sample bindings. If the information you need to organize is there, then the rest is just groovy logic.

Though for dealing with large music collections other tools might be more suitable. For music filebot just keeps things as simple as possible. The other MusicBrainz tools will be much better.

Can you elaborate? where is the format editor? sorry for the noob question.
