FileBot

Hi,

Yesterday {VF} and {VC} stop working.
I haven't made any update (maybe some automatic, but not intentionally)

It seems to have a problem with JNA (?).
here the logs:

I tried uninstalling JAVA 32, JAVA 64, reinstalled them, reinstalled the latest version of filebot, but there is always the same log.

I hope somebody could help me.

Your anti-virus is probably blocking the JNA library for some reason.

Have you tried with FileBot_4.0_RC1?

I'm still puzzled why the normal version doesn't work anymore, last friday it was working...
i've tried to disable my anti-virus, but with no result...

More information about my very strange problem:
If I install Filebot (3.8 x64) and use it ---> mediainfo doesn't work.
If I uninstall Filebot and use only Filebot portable ---> Mediainfo doesn't work.
If I install Filebot (3.8 x64) and use Filebotportable -->Mediainfo work....

PS: my antivirus was disabled during my test.

out of curiosity, where did you install FileBot to, where are you running the portable version from, and are you using an admin account? also, what A/V are you using?

it sounds like it's either permissions or java. Maybe try running the installed version of FileBot 'as administrator' to see if that makes any difference? Doubtful, but worth a shot.

Finally, do you have both the x86 and x64 versions of Java installed?

Filebot (x64) is installed in his default folder C:\Program Files\FileBot
Filebot portable is unzipped in D:\Download\FileBot_3.8-portable
My user is a admin account
A/V is bitdefender
and yes, I have both version of java installed.

BTW, If I launch installed version of filebot as administrator , Media info works again, but I lost drag&drop support !

Well, I can at least tell you that if you install filebot it'll also add it self, the executable and libraries to the PATH. So if you then run filebot portable and it tries to load a .dll the system will be able to find the required libraries in the filebot install folder.
