[FAQ] How do I restore my Microsoft Store or Mac App Store purchase?

If you have purchased FileBot via the
Microsoft Store then you
must log into the
Microsoft Store with your
Microsoft Account and then install FileBot from there:
➔ FileBot on the Microsoft Store

If you have purchased FileBot via the
Mac App Store then you must log into the
Mac App Store with your
Apple Account and then install FileBot from there:
➔ FileBot on the Mac App Store

If you have purchased FileBot via the
Microsoft Store or
Mac App Store then you
must log into the Store with your Store Account and install FileBot via the Store. You notably
cannot use the
installer packages downloaded from this website as they require a
universal license key.

Your
Microsoft Store or
Mac App Store purchase notably does
not include a
universal license key. Your purchase is stored in your
Microsoft Account or
Apple Account and cannot be transferred to other Store or non-Store license systems. Please read

Wanted to install from Mac App Store (same account, new computer) — link is not working.
Has this been pulled from App Store and if so, where do we (who bought from MAS) stand with license?

Apple does that from time to time for all kinds of reasons. Looks like it was just about clicking an
OK button in the
Paid Apps Agreement this time around. It should work again now.
