I would like to request a feature where the user has the ability to reorder the fetch and match database used by Filebot

Previously in version 4, The TVDB was at the top of the list for Episode mode. In version 5 it now sits third. It would be awesome to be able to change this and possibly even to be able to set which database the Smart Mode automatic uses. I prefer to use The TVDB but for Smart Mode automatic option, I believe The moviedb is being used

TheMovieDB is now the default and you are encouraged. The primary reason being: Plex and everyone else have started switching away from TheTVDB since they started charging business-level fees for API access while simultaneously providing a worse API service.


You can change the default database for Smart Mode: Automatic though. Please read Configure Default Database
