FileBot

Hi

I'm using FileBot since years with a livetime registration on my synology nas with DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1.
Now, I've created new users without admin-rights on my nas.
I'll only share one shared folder with differnt people and it works fine.
But all users can see and open FileBot Node when they log in on the DSM. All other apps are'nt visible.
How can I change the rights to disable FileBot Node for all non-admin users?

Unfortunately, FileBot Node access cannot be disabled. Any user that can authenticate with DSM can use the FileBot Node WebUI. FileBot Node itself is running as the package-specific internal user and not as whichever user is sending requests via the WebUI.


If you want to limit access, then your best option is to use the docker container instead and configure it with custom port / username / password credentials:
