Instead of the pull down menu for "Edit Match" please add buttons. I, and perhaps others, have lots of extras, etc, that require manually massaging in order to get them into shape.

And perhaps add a metadata editing feature - I have lots of educational videos that have no metadata and when plex sees them, just lists their episode number.

You can use the small Edit Match button on the bottom next to the buttons as an alternative to double-clicking an item.

Power users will want to use CTRL+M and find-as-you-type and keyboard navigation to fix matches quickly. See How do I manually fix episode matches? video tutorial.




Batch Rename any type of file › Organize files based on information present in the file path will get you started with organizing your own custom files for Plex. The details may vary depending on how your files are currently organized. Editing metadata is not necessary. You can configure Plex to ignore embedded metadata if existing metadata is causing trouble.
