FileBot

I am new to filebot and plex. I have Plex running on my Synology NAS. I see that I can install Filebot on my Synology. My question is why would I want to run Filebot on my Synology? Can someone explain the benefit? Thank you.

If you can access your files via a remote network drive, then I would strongly recommend processing files remotely via the FileBot Desktop application.


Running FileBot on your Synology NAS makes sense if you cannot access your files via network drive for some reason, or if you want to run FileBot automatically.
