I’ve been using FileBot to rename my TV shows and movies, and it’s been an amazing tool for organizing my media library. However, I’ve come across multiple types of media formats and categories within FileBot, and I'm not sure I understand them all. I want to make sure I'm using the right types for renaming my shows correctly.

please provide a comprehensive list of the different media types that FileBot recognizes? Also, any guidance on how each type should be used when renaming would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards

:?: What is your use case? What are you trying to achieve?

 {type} refers to the match type, i.e. Movie or MoviePart in Movie Mode, Episode or MultiEpisode in Episode Mode, etc. The typical use case for {type} would be a single rather complex format that can be used as both Movie Format and Episode Format, but needs some special behaviours for one or the other depending on the match object at hand.
