FileBot

I've been updating my media management, and somehow I changed something (I guess) so that asking FB to rename a TV show or movie means that 4-5 pieces of art also get downloaded.

FB has the weirdest options I've ever seen in my life. Clicking on something called "Settings" with Settings-like icon art brings up choices like "Override", "Rename", etc.... but then clicking on a menu item like "Rename" does NOT bring up the Settings for Rename. Whatever. I have accepted that "Settings" just isn't something that was translated well into English.

But does anyone know WHERE the actual settings are - the parameters that cause FileBot to download art, so I can turn them off?

The Settings tell FileBot what to do when you click the Rename button:
** Right-Clicking the Rename button will also open the same Settings popup




Clicking on Extension: Preserve | Override or Action: Rename | Copy | etc item will immediately apply the selected setting.

Clicking on Options: Post Process will open a dialog where you can enable or disable various post-processing features.
** the UI will not immediately reflect your selection here because post-processing features are only executed after you have clicked the Rename button and files have been processed successfully




You have likely accidentally checked the Fetch artwork post-processing feature at some point in time. You can disable the feature by unchecking the corresponding checkbox and then clicking the OK button.
