FileBot

Hi!

I'm trying out v4.0 on W8.1 and XP and I've got the same problem on both.

My folder structure is like this Each of the "Caprica - The complete Series - Disc xyz" is a full DVD copy. FileBot finds nothing to match the folder to. The yellow working circle appears for a second and then goes away.

Browsed into VIDEO_TS and did a match on the VOB's etc. A prompt appears asking what series and this is the end result so no firewall or connectivity issues:

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Help appreciated.

PS: I did watch a couple of training videos, no go...

Full DVD copy is not supported for TV shows because the logic would obviously have to be completely different from Episode files.

Pretty sure XBMC and Plex don't care much for full dvd copies neither, at least there's nothing in their naming docs:

In cases where your file contains more than one episode, you can specify all the episodes included. Everything after the first found pattern match will be checked for further matches to the same pattern.
Examples
anything_s01e01_s01e02.ext
anything.s01e01.episode1.title.s01e02.episode2.title.ext
anything.s01e01.s01e02.s01e03.ext
anything.1x01_1x02.ext
anything.s01e01 1x02.ext (mixed patterns do not work)
anything.ep01.ep02.ext

Something to consider adding support for in FileBot?

And where exactly do you see XBMC supporting this? I only see support for double and triple episodes.

So you would really like to rename Caprica - The complete Series - Disc 1 to Caprica - 1x01x02x03x04x05...x17x18? Seriously? I have absolutely no plan of supporting this abomination of a filename!

If you spent less time trying to be rude, and more time reading the wiki, you might gain some more insight.... I'll move on to use a different tool....

Let me know if you even find anything at all that would indicate XBMC supports 18-episode Multi-Episode patterns! (for real, I'm curious)
