FileBot

Morning. I purchased Filebot off the Microsoft App store several years ago. I was having space issues and deleted my iCloud folder from my computer and somehow lost the registration info for Filebot. Whenever I try to open the app nothing happens, no windows, boxes or dialogue show.

I can go to the App store and it shows that I own the program, yet when I click Open from the App Store, nothing happens.

What do I need to do to get my program to work again. I am happy to buy it again, but I cannot even get into the program.

How do I restore my Microsoft Store or Mac App Store purchase?

If you have purchased FileBot on the Microsoft Store, then you can install via the Microsoft Store. You cannot lose your purchase since Microsoft keeps track of your purchases in your Microsoft account. If you have already installed FileBot via the Microsoft Store, but somehow nothing happens when you click on the FileBot launcher, then we can look into that.

What exactly happens after you click the FileBot launcher? Does the task bar icon appear and then disappear? Is there a running process in the task manager?

What does the log say? What does the console output say if you run filebot from the command-line?
