Help with installation on Utilite Standard
Posted: 11 Apr 2014, 15:21
Hello,
I'm trying to get FileBot working on a new ARM Ubuntu box I just got called Utilite. I'm not really advanced in Linux, but I do know how to do most things and Google is my friend. Originally I tried doing a manual installation and installed Java using sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk and when I run a version check I see OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.3.10). Then I was looking into how to install FileBot on ARM and came across http://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1086 guide to install on RPi so I thought I could use it as a reference. I then went through all the steps except for the RPi specific steps and when I try to run sudo filebot -script "fn:sysinfo" I get a message cannot access the jar file. Now I'm thinking of starting fresh and following all of the instructions in the RPi guide but I wanted to know if I should be following them for my system or if there is another installation procedure I should follow.
Utilite Standard Specs:
CPU Freescale i.MX6 dual-core Cortex-A9 @1GHz
RAM 2GB DDR3-1066
Storage Micro-SD 8GB
Display dual head HDMI + DVI
LAN 2x GbE
Wireless WiFi 802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth 3.0
USB 4x USB2.0 host + USB OTG
