I guess filebot gets no search query from file
Any ideas why it fails and how to fix it?

Have you tried the latest revision?

yes tried the newest head version, but it's the same error

Probably just too new, it'll probably start working by itself if you try again in a week or two.

if i add --q Turn it works but not without it. Strange the tvdb api has the episode entries listed. tvrage db doesn't work either...
could there be a reason for filebot not to recognize the query just from file?

new show + bad numbering + short name = bad luck for this one, it's not that it can't find anything, it's not even searching

"new show" will fix itself after a few weeks, and "bad numbering" you can fix by naming it 1x01 style.
