FileBot

"Clean clutter files and empty folders" appears in my log file ... but it may, or may not, actually do what it says. I'd say about 50% of the time it doesn't work for me.

I'm running v4.2 of Filebot on a Windows 7 sp1 64-bit system (64-bit version of java).
I run my filebot from a GoFilebot.cmd batch file, so it does exactly the same operation every time.

Below are two examples of the folders and files that weren't cleaned up ...

Reclaim.2014.HDRip.XViD-juggs[ETRG]
ETRG.mp4
RECLAIM-ETRG.nfo
sample.avi
Torrent Downloaded From ExtraTorrent.cc.txt

Space.Station.76.2014.HDRip.XViD-juggs[ETRG]

Conversely, similarly named folders and files get cleaned up routinely -------- I'm stumped.

The desired movie, or tv show, always end up in the appropriate folder every time. It's just the leftovers that I have to watch out for and remove.

Anyone have a clue what may be happening?

The cleaner will not touch any folder that still contains large video files. If these files are moved during processing then the cleaner will work, if they're copied (so still there next to the clutter files) then the cleaner won't work.

PS: the logs would have been nice

I suppose this file makes the cleaner not touch the folder: Though video files < 20 MB should still be considered "clutter" automatically.

If you can figure out which file causes the cleaner to ignore the folder I might be able to fix it.

The following command line is what I used (removed the myepisode processing part for these tests)

1. removed no files ... no clean up.
2. removed only Reclaim.2014.HDRip.XViD-juggs[ETRG].srt ... no clean up.
3. removed only ETRG.mp4 ... CLEAN UP WORKED!!!!
4. removed only RECLAIM-ETRG.nfo ... no clean up.
5. removed only sample.avi ... no clean up.
6. removed only Torrent Downloaded From ExtraTorrent.cc.txt ... no clean up.
7. removed ALL files except the movie avi and ETRG.mp4 ... no clean up.

It appears that ETRG.mp4 is the culprit.

Okay, out of curiosity I re-created the ETRG.mp4 file with a file size of zero. When I ran Filebot no files were cleaned up. So, it appears that the mere existence of the file causes Filebot to not clean up. Hummm, sort-a strange. <smile>

I've tried with 0-byte files and it seems to work.

Can you try with the latest v3.5 beta or latest revision?
