FileBot

Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if anyone has successfully upgraded to Yosemite on Mac without any hiccups with their AMC? I cherish my current set up, and while I want to upgrade to Yosemite, I won't if it breaks FileBot in anyway.

Any quick success stories would be muchly appreciated!

Just wait until it's officially released and you'll have feedback by thousands within a few hours.

No idea. Next week? But upgrading isn't really relevant until the new release is actually available. Though at least for Java/FileBot is no reason why anything wouldn't work. I'm sure it'll run fine.

Yosemite was out yesterday for evreyone?

Yup, Yosemite was released over 24 hours ago. I have the installer ready and rearing to go, just wondered if there was any confirmations out there so I wouldn't need to revert my system afterwards. I'm happy to wait.

I bought the filebot app and it works perfectly on Yosemite.

Although the script I had copied from here is not working for the .app

/Applications/Filebot.app/Contents/MacOS/filebot.sh

I don't know what to change :p

filebot works well under osx yosemite, can't detect any problems...
and i bought the appstore-version of FileBot (why filebot is free on every plattform exept osx?) but i dont care - 5$ is a good deal for a tool like this.. but what im really looking for - where is the command line version in the appstore filebot???

The App Store does not allow cmdline tools. So there is no filebot.sh and even if there was it couldn't work due to app sandboxing.

Use brew cask to install the cmdline tool.

why can't you get it from filebots homepage anymore? because it did before or am i wrong?

the newest filebot version for osx is still available via sourcefource (http://sourceforge.net/projects/filebot ... z/download), don't know what they thought about..

Java / FileBot confirmed to run flawlessly on Yosemite.
