Display long lines in columns

Thank you for such a great tool,
Everything is great except for one annoyance which could cause potential problems when renaming.

After I have actioned 'Fetch Data', the column 'New Names' is populated.
For most short names, this is fine (I can see the whole new name).
When the new name is too long for the column, it is impossible to see all of the new name.
This causes a problem when verifying that the name, series or episode is correct before renaming.

I have not yet come across this problem in the left hand column.
I am sure this feature was available in the past.
If so, maybe it is just my version v4.5 that has problems, my OS is Win7?

Would it be possible to implement easier viewing of long lines?

Thank you

There will be scrollbars that you can use to scroll left or right.

on windows this doesn´t work properly. I added a file to the left window. it was larger than the window and scrollbars appear to cover the full line (left side) .. but after fetching, the right window still is much to small - even with scrollbars (which only cover the space needed on the left window) so I think the to windows should have independent scrollbars !

Yep, that doesn't look right... Which Windows version are you using?

* Make sure you're using the latest Oracle Java 8
* Try using the FileBot (platform) link to start FileBot
* Try FileBot 4.2 and see if it makes a difference
* Try other computers and see if the issue is reproducible

Plus I need system info as described here:

Thank you all,

I have added the extra info you requested.
As I mentioned before, I was sure I had the scrollbar before version 4.5
I am not sure if the encountered anomaly is a widespread fault

Screenshot:
Image

FileBot 4.5 (r2592)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.69
7-Zip-JBinding: OK
chromaprint-tools: fpcalc version 1.1.0 (C:\Program Files\FileBot\fpcalc.exe)
Extended Attributes: OK
Groovy Engine: 2.3.7
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_25
JVM: 64-bit Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
CPU/MEM: 8 Core / 3 GB Max Memory / 28 MB Used Memory
OS: Windows 7 (amd64)

I don't have a second computer to try and replicate the problem on
With the earlier version, I am sure I had a scrollbar.
I updated Filebot and Jave with v4.5

Thank you

Alright, I can reproduce the issue on Windows 8 as well now. Though it seems to work under certain circumstances. Always works on Mac / Linux. I'll look into that.

I've noticed this on my Mac too...not always...just on occasion. Usually a restart of Filebot will fix it.

Running OS X Yosemite 10.10 (actually 10.10.1 developer build, but had it on the retail release)

java version "1.8.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b17)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.25-b02, mixed mode)

To be honest, this happened as far back as Filebot 4.1 on Mavericks with different versions of Java also...I just never thought too much about it.
Just seems like it doesn't always realize that the data exceeds the available window space and prompts the OS for scrollbars.

If I can gather any information next time I see it, let me know what I can send...I'll grab some screenshots too.

You can try the latest v4.5.2 and see if it makes a difference:
