[INCORRECT MATCH] Marry Me 2014

The series Marry Me does not get found when running the AMC script. When I manually do it, I have to choose the correct because there are similar matches. What can I do to fix this?

Code: Select all

C:\Users\VMachine>filebot -script fn:sysinfo
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: TieredCompilation is disabled in this releas
e.
FileBot 4.5 (r2612)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.69
7-Zip-JBinding: OK
chromaprint-tools: fpcalc version 1.1.0 (C:\Program Files\FileBot\fpcalc.exe)
Extended Attributes: OK
Groovy Engine: 2.3.7
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_25
JVM: 32-bit Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
CPU/MEM: 1 Core / 247 MB Max Memory / 11 MB Used Memory
OS: Windows 7 (x86)
Done ?(?????)?

Code: Select all

filebot.exe -script fn:amc --output "D:/" --log-file amc.log --action copy --conflict override -no-xattr -non-strict --def music=n artwork=n clean=y "seriesFormat=/TV Shows/{n}/Season {s}/{n} - {s00e00} - {t}" "movieFormat=/Movies/{n} ({y})" plex=192.168.1.7 "ut_label=%L" "ut_state=%S" "ut_title=%N" "ut_kind=%K" "ut_file=%F" "ut_dir=%D"
So tried using the GUI as well, comes up with multiple matches with TheTVDB while TVRage doesn't.

Manual search on TheTVDB for "Marry Me 2014" gives 0 results. Correct query, incorrect result, bad luck.

Once the show is more popular FileBot will know "Marry Me" so it'll probably start working if you give it a few weeks. Many good ratings on TheTVDB will ensure that FileBot will include the show in it's internal index. ;)

PS: "No Match / Ignore" is perfectly acceptable behaviour for ticky cases ;)

Understood. Thanks for the response.

Is there a way to use the --db tvrage in my script?

No, the amc script is optimized for TheTVDB and using TVRage may lead to unpredictable results.

Hey sorry, found a another show messing up. Newsreaders. For instance, S02E07 will rename to s01e07. Doesnt seem to pull the 2nd season from thetvdb.

I'll need the logs or at the very least the full file path then ;)

It looks to me like the 2x07 episode data for 12/11 wasn't in the dbase at the time you posted this on the same day.
Therefore, FB assumes x07, and found only S1.
*It works now...

It can also take a little time (& a cache refresh) to pull newer data from the dbase, so while you may have seen it on the TVDB, it wasn't 'pulled' into your system yet.

I created a simple .BAT file - (with just "filebot -clear-cache" (no quotes)) on the desktop, and click it every time I want to refresh the dbase info. Sometimes it catches up to the newer data, sometimes it takes a little longer.

Maybe someone else can add: Should FB always pull 'current' data, or does the serving dbase only update its info every hour or two, or day... ?

When using FileBot with TheTVDB you're guaranteed that the data used is not older than 48 hours, so this can only be an issue with daily shows. If you process a new episode every week then you will definitely get the latest data at the time of processing because the last fetch was probably about 6+ days before.

Most likely the data was added by someone that noticed the data wasn't already available on the day of the release.

I'm having a similar issue except mines went from being able to fetch a series to not.. My script hasn't changed, I thought it could have been the amc.groovy script as that was updated after the last episode release but when using an older version of it, I ruled that out.
