Any way to avoid this behaviour?
The content of the video file is as expected (I checked). It is matching the file to the wrong subtitles. I think that about 20% of the time I end up with incorrect subtitles (either heavily out of sync or complete wrong ones).

I do appreciate the 80% correct ratio, saves me quite some time!

Well, can't do much about that. Some idiots randomly uploading "verified" subtitles. The only thing you can do is not use OpenSubtitles. Once you get proper subs it would be nice if you could upload those to OpenSubtitles so this hash/subtitle mapping gets a higher rating.
