FileBot

Hi!

A picture says more than 1000 words:


Folder: "Scooby Doo Wo bist du" (engl.: Scooby Doo Where Are You)

Filenames: scdwb-01x11, scdwb-01x18, scdwb-01x19, ...

Preferences: TheTVDB (EpisodeMode), Opportunistic (MatchMode), German (Language)

FileBot already renamed from 01x01 to 01x10 totally correct, but you can see 01x18/19/20 won't work this way.

Is not only the filename relevant for finding the title? If it is, why FileBot maps a 1x18 to a 1x01? Makes no sense to me :-/

P.S. Tested on FB 4.5.6 and latest (4.5.7b1), Win7 (x64).

Episode 1x18 doesn't make sense to FileBot neither since it doesn't exist => http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid ... 4622&lid=7

Use Strict mode instead of Optimistic mode if you want to skip these entries rather than forcing FileBot to make a "best guess".

Though for me this case is somewhat awkward...
You are totally right. This episode list ends @1x17... => it seems my numbering was broken, dunno how/why. Thats the simple reason why it wont work.

I had'nt written this "bug report" if I had not some similar issues weeks ago. Some weeks ago I put Bravestarr episodes in FB and the result was very weird: Something like "brave_0x05" (original) => "bravestarr - 0x16 ..." (new name, suggestion).
When it was happend, I ignored it and renamed all titles manually. This time, I thought I should report it. But sadly, it was my own mistake ^^

Anyway, thanks for your help !

Sure, keep reporting when things don't match as they should.

I will always need the full path (as text) and links the correct data.
