FileBot

DSM Version 5.2-5592

In the forums it indicates that I need to install Node.js-armada370-0.10.36-0007.spk. I do a manual install but however when I install FileBot node it automatically upgrades to version 0.12.4-0110. FileBot node indicates that node.js is a dependent package and will need to install. I have no choice to cancel that install and leave version 0.10.36-0007 on the system.

Package auto update is disabled on my synology.

When I launch FileBot I receive the following error

When I dry run FileBot I get the following error:

I presume this is from Node.js 0.12.4-0110 but I am not sure how to stop it from upgrading the later version of node.js.

What does the log say?

Synology should have fixed the Node.js problem with the latest update. Just let it install the latest Node.js and see if it works. If it doesn't you can still downgrade later.

The latest version 0.12.4-0110 does not work. I tried to downgrade after installing Filebot Node but Synology does not allow this. So no way to test with the older version.

I am not sure what logs you refer too.

I am a complete novice at Linux.

The Synology logs. You just have to click "View Log" in the DSM UI package manager.

Removed FileBot Node and node.js. Installed the 0.10 version. Log states that "Package [Node.js] has been successfully installed". I then run Filebot install. New message in log states "Package [Node.js] has been successfully updated" and "Package [FileBot Node] has been successfully installed"

Unfortunately nothing else.
