FileBot Node output paths

Hi, I am an utterly noob to FileBot, but I love it already! Recently I got FileBot Node running on my Synology and it's running great. The only thing I was wondering if the only customizing can be done over the GUI parameters or is there a way to edit the script which is executed?
I am asking because I wanted to adjust the output folder for the movies. By default every movie will end up in its own folder. I would prefer to have all movies sharing one common folder (more compatible with my file structure). Is there a way to have this adjusted in FileBot Node? Any hint would be highly appreciated.
Cheers, H

1.
You have full control. No need to edit anything. Just set your own Movie Format.
2.
Don't do that! Not using movie folders, and putting everything into a single folder, is a bad bad idea...

Thanks for the swift reaction.
1. I assume with Movie Format I can not influence the path of the file, but only the format of the file e.g. title+year and such
2. Why is it such a bad idea to have all the movies (including subs and info) in one path? So far it worked very well for me (I am not that fond of sub-foldering e.g. having a folder for a set and in this folder another 6 folders...)
2a. Does this imply that FileBot Node does not allow storing movies in a shared folder?
Looking forward to your feedback.
Cheers, H

1.
The format of the file is the path. If that path is relative then it will be resolved against the --output folder.

2.
If you really only have 1 file per 1 movie, then I guess it's ok. But, do you want subtitles? or artwork? do you have multi-part files? multiple versions per movie?

3.
Nope, it implies that you can do absolutely anything.
e.g. flat name/year file structure? Easy, but not recommend.
e.g. default recommend 1-folder per 1-movie structure:
Code: Select all
Movies/{n} ({y})/{n} ({y}){' CD'+pi}{'.'+lang}
