I have set the HTTP_PROXY and the HTTPS_PROXY variables in the terminal, as well as in the settings pane.

When I try to fetch new names, it says "Connection Refused".

Changelog of 3.2 says that system proxy is used by default. (Changelog here: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/38275 ... downloader )

I am using FileBot 4.6.1, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Does Ubuntu have a Java Control Panel? You can set the proxy there.

Otherwise you can always set it via Java System properties. Google for details. This seems like a good solution.
