FileBot

So I need a script that runs after I use my FTP client to transfer files into a temp folder than on completion of transfer it runs the script that renames the file and folder and than moves it to my movie directory, any help would be great!

I'd start by looking into rsync and lftp console tools for syncing files. The filebot amc script will deal with organizing files.

PS: I occasionally to write custom scripts, but this is not a free service. Make me an offer.
