is it possible to somehow get subtitles to work with the {plex} and {vf} together? i wanna know what kind of resolution i have the files in, but the subtitles become in the wrong format then.

say the filename of the movie is "this is a movie (2010) 720p" then the subtitle file would be named "this is a movie (2010).eng 720p"
is it possible to get the renaming to be "this is a movie (2010) 720p.eng" instead? if so how?

If you want full control then you can't use the simple {plex} binding. You can write your own format that does that same though.

Search for Automated Media Center Default Formats and you will find examples that should be easy to modify to your needs.
