Plex-compatible language codes

I had to register just to post this (my "beef")
I've been using this thing for a while now and have recently begun combining it with plex. Now the format i've been using for a while now is
{n} - {s00e00} - {t}
apparantly just using and it seems to work fine. Now apparantly i just found out i could simply use {plex}
the thing is with that, that instead of using .nld as the subtitle language identified it uses .dut (which isn't the preferred way). So i can't use {plex} and have to resort to my own method
{n} - {s00e00} - {t}.{lang} which correctly uses the preferred identifier. However, plex supports 2 language identifier conventions. The 2 letter version .nl in this case and the 3 letter version. .nld. I prefer to use the first method and not the latter. How do i force Filebot to use the 2 letter version. I'd also recommend updating the plex one to use nl/nld instead of "dut"
The problem with my preferred method
{n} - {s00e00} - {t}.{lang}
is that it adds a trailing dot after the video filename too, how do i prevent that from happening
eg
showname - s01e01 - titlename..avi
showname - s01e01 - titlename.nld.avi
