FileBot

Hello,

I'm new to filebot and I have been doing everything by hand for a long time. I have not done it in a little over a year now and I came across filebot. I have started to use the Automated Media Center scripts to automate everything that I download.
I was wondering if there is an easy way to rename everything that I downloaded the past year. It's in a separate folder then everything else and there's nothing in the folder besides movies(2k movies).
I can use the same amc script but I don't know how I can add the input argument. Or maybe there is a different better way to do it? Also, I have tried to use the windows version of filebot but I can only rename so many movies at a time that it takes a really long time.

I recommend using the GUI for that, so you can double check everything. It's not gonna take any more or less long than using the command-line tool. Just wait and let it do it's thing.

Depending on the situation, you might be able to minimize user-interaction by using strict mode:

Of course, the amc script is just a command-line tool, so you can call it on the command-line on any folder you want. That bit is well-documented.
