FileBot

I recovered a BUNCH of old music videos which have no proper naming convention. Is there any tool whether FileBot or something the like which perhaps can use Shazam to identify the name of the song then rename the video accordingly? A plugin for FileBot perhaps?

Depends on each individual file. Most likely, you're out of luck. But there's a few things you could try.


1.
AcoustID might be able to identify it based on the audio fingerprint. This generally only works if the music video uses the same audio stream as the mp3/m4a file.


2.
If you're lucky, then some files are tagged with ID3 metadata, in which case you can rename based on existing tags:
