FileBot

Filebot made all my movies .file type, so there is no default media player for them and no media information. Its all been stripped away to .file as file type. Can anyone help me fix this?

FileBot does not change the file extension unless you explicitly turn on "Override Extension" in the Settings.

Regardless, you can always use the History / Revert feature to revert previous rename operations and restore the original filename, and then rename files correctly in "Preserve Extension" mode (enabled by default whenever you start FileBot).
