Just had to rebuild Windows10 and can't find my license. Checking emails I've got the paypal and microsoft store emails (order 1678303366) bought 18 Jun 2017 but not the license key email.

How do I retrieve the license key ?

You don’t have a license key. If you have purchased FileBot on the Store then you can conveniently install via the Store.

Otherwise, will updates be made available via the store on release also, and will the OS automatically pull down along with other Microsoft updates? I realise that isn't a FileBot question, but I thought you may know how it works.

Yes, the Microsoft Store will automatically check for updates and automatically install the latest updates, so you don't have to do anything and will always be running the latest and greatest.
