Is there any chance to get subscene working again?
Subscene has the most complete collection for my language...
thanks

1. They don't have an API. Ask them to make one. The won't though.
2. I'm breaking their terms of service by scraping subtitles from the website. If they give me written confirmation that I can freely scrape the date from their website I can add it again. You can ask them the write such a notice for filebot. They won't though.

I see,
Yeah i've seen some thread there regarding API.
It seems like they reluctant to make one because it might reduce the traffic...
That's too bad cause the subbers in my country decided to use it as their main sub site...
BTW may i know what do you use to scrape their subs?
I'm looking for a method to scrape specific language subs from them..
I've tried various site grabber program but none of them works,
i suspect it's because they use randomized download link?
thanks

With the latest version I've just removed the Subscene from the UI. The code and all is still there and in the SVN if you wanna check it out. Can try FileBot v3.5 and see if my scraper still works. Unless the changed the website recently you might be lucky.
EDIT: tell your fav subber to use opensubtitles

Thanks for the advice, it's actually still working on 3.5!
Just one thing, is there anyway to skip OS and sublight ?

In the cmdline mode you can do --db subscene but the GUI will always prefer opensubtitles.

Shame! I was really hoping it would be possible to have 'Subscene' in the options. They still don't have an API?

And I guess stuff like this isn't allowed either:
