You are right, it is indeed some kind of permission issue but I don't know how to resolve it. The files are on my secondary hard drive which are mounted to /data/. What is the value of $extractedPath when you call filebot ? Use set -xu if you're not sure what you're doing: set -xu $extractedPath is the path to the directory ->/data/Downloads/Movies/Extracted/ What does set -xu do?
