Integration with MyEpisodes

Hi,
It seems as if the integration with MyEpisodes has stoppped working.
When I asked about it on the MyEpsiodes forum I received this answer:

The URL structure of MyEpisodes was changed recently.

The maintainer of FileBot will have to update it to match those changes.

Anything you already knew?

How so? I don't even know what's changed and what's not working anymore, other than everything.

I'm not interested in maintaining a page scraper, so in absence of any kind of API, I won't be able to provide continuous fixes to keep it working. If anybody want to volunteer as a maintainer for the update-mes script though, please step forward.

And suddenly.... it works again!?
Don't know how, I haven't updatet Fielbot but I'm glad it's back.
(don't like manual work )

The webmaster at MyEpisodes has recently added backward compatibility to his new url-scheme to address complaints from users of a number of addons and scripts which used that site. An API for MyEpisodes is in development though it seems not likely to appear anytime soon. However, if the new API is implemented, there is no guarantee that the old url-scheme will continue to work and addon/script authors will be encouraged to make use of the official API.

FYI: API stands for Application Programming Interface and is an official, standardized way for programs (addons & scripts) to communicate with a service (MyEpisodes).

If there's a stable API, then I'm happy to implement support for that. MyEpisodes is the last page scraper in the FileBot project, and I'd be very happy in getting rid of that as well.
