Yep, I can get the "old" format to work ... but on the upgrade to 24.04 LTS, it seems that all .list files were upgraded to .sources (i.e. the newer approach). I can go back to .list (for only this one) ... but thinking we try to get it working in .sources format (also)?
Thanks!

Re: Ubuntu (.deb) Repository Failing, 24.04 LTS
You'll need to go to dists if you want to see the file list: https://get.filebot.net/deb/dists/ OK, that makes sense ... and I see it there. Thanks! What is your sources.list line? Here it is (hopefully I formatted this right :)) Types: deb URIs: https://get.filebot.net/deb/ Suites: universal ...

Ubuntu (.deb) Repository Failing, 24.04 LTS
Hi, I have used apt on Linux for quite some time, but with v24.04 LTS, I am now seeing this error, W: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-i386/Packages' as repository 'https://get.filebot.net/deb universal InRelease' does not seem to provide it (sources.list entry misspelt?) Re: Feature Request, Filename Pre-Processing
OK, that makes sense - thanks! So use File Format to "clean up" the name, then from there process the files (i.e. Episode, Movie, etc.). Correct?
I admit, searching for a list of the keyboard shortcuts ... F7, F2 ... LOL. I'll find it though.
Thanks again.

Re: Feature Request, UI Enhancements
Sorry, it's likely me not being clear. For example, if I have the following in the GUI, Arrgh! Seems I can't include a screenshot (picture) or zip file? OK, let me try to explain better " ;) Just thinking an indicator on the main GUI window would be helpful, to show the currently selected format ...

Re: Feature Request, Filename Pre-Processing
OK, I get your point now
. Sorry, I was thinking in the GUI, not command line. What you say for the command line is clear, but no similar functionality / approach for the GUI? Or are you saying to use a similar syntax for the GUI renaming?
Thanks!

Thanks!

Re: Feature Request, Filename Pre-Processing
Thanks! I did try to find how to post the filename, even tried a few options ... LOL. But I missed the desired format, sorry.
No ability to pre-process in filebot itself, strip the leading number?
Thanks again.

Re: Feature Request, UI Enhancements
Yes, agree with you - and I do process Episodes and Movies "separately" (i.e. different formats). That's the reason for the request :D. I find that every single time I go to use the application, I need to check what the currently selected format is ... as I can't recall from the last time, where I ...

Feature Request, Filename Pre-Processing
Hi, Another minor one, but before trying to match, it would be handy to be able to "clean" (pre-process) the file name. Some of my auto-downloaded files show up as (generic) "12345678_Show_Name.mp4". The match would be much better (more successful) if "12345678_" were removed first. Thanks!

Feature Request, UI Enhancements
Hi,
Minor, but - these two items would be quite handy,
- a display / indicator, somewhere on the UI, of the current format (i.e. Episode, Movie, etc.). To avoid checking it each time.
- a button, for Smart Mode, Automatic. I use this 90% of the time, so a button would be handy.
Thanks!

Status Indicators
My apologies, this is likely captured somewhere ... I just can't find it
I have seen green arrows in the rename list (no real rename, before and after the same), some red X's (overwrite) ... but overall, are the meanings of these "indicators" captured somewhere?
Thanks!

That makes sense, will dig more. And I admit, wondering in the back of my mind if I can integrate this with my post-processing script (that transcodes to save space, removes commercials).
Thanks!

Re: Filter List, Only Items Needing Renaming
OK, that makes sense. I admit, have to think about it a bit, as I have multiple users (family members ... LOL). And as I only rename once a month or so - not sure if this will block them from watching their shows or not (until I get around to renaming).
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Re: Filter List, Only Items Needing Renaming
Hi, Yes, that makes sense - no argument here. I admit, as I am using Plex, it sorts / organizes the files automatically ... but once in a while it "messes" up a name or two. So every so often I go in and correct it, but then I do see quite a lengthy list of items that don't need to be renamed, and a ...

Filter List, Only Items Needing Renaming
Hi,
After I have selected the source directory, and matched items ... is there a way to filter the rename list to only those items that will be renamed? Meaning ... of 195 of 200 items show a green arrow (nothing to be done), how to filter the list to only show the 5 that will be renamed?
Thanks!

Plex Format
Hi,
Trying to rename some TV Shows, to make sure they confirm to Plex standards. So the format I'm using is {plex}. The odd thing is that it wants to change the series/episode format from (for example), S06E01 to 6x01. Is this really what it should be doing for Plex?
Thanks!
