TheTVDB API search function has many quirks and and shortcomings. This seems to be one of them.
e.g.
http://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Natsume%27s+Book+of+Friends
Works.
http://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Natsume+Yuujinchou
No results.
