I guess there's something wrong with the Opensubtitles API. I also get an error when I run "filebot -script fn:configure".

But Kodi sub download works fine, does that not use the API?

Is it not odd that "Food" wins over "Food Evolution" even though the year is 1 off? I suppose the year has a very strong weight as it's usually correct, perhaps being 1 year off should not lessen the weight much?

filebot -list --db TheTVDB --q "Catch-22"


EDIT:

This warning just tells you why it's not working, a search for "catch 22" yields 0 results, and since TheTVDB gives back bad results, FileBot is likely to also give you ...

{source} is not a MediaInfo binding. {source} is based primary on the filename, i.e. if the filename contains BluRay then {source} will be BluRay , if the filename is abc.mp4 then {source} will be undefined .

Am trying to use Filebot in a sort of "dumb mode" to copy Audiobooks to a specific folder.

(Ideally I would just like to give Filebot a list of filetypes, and any of those files should be copied somewhere, but I don't think Filebot can do that)

Strange, I am running 4.7.9. I used to have this issue, but at least on the latest 2 movies I downloaded, the artwork is looking fine.

Did TDB make changes on their end to fix this for 4.7.9 perhaps?

I fixed 2) indeed, found solution on the forum. Seems this Debian LXC template does not set locale correctly by default.

But 1) is a mystery, I am using the untouched .deb package, this layout:

I am running Centos (CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804), and not a Deb-based linux.

On FileBot 4.8.0, my Mediainfo is no longer loading. Possibly related to the above?

Missing {source} from release

Just had the following release fly by:
Curb.Your.Enthusiasm.S09E08.1080p.WEB.h264-CONVOY

Filebot/mediainfo could not determine the Source for this file, and thus the naming gets a bit messed up.

Is this an issue with the release? Something that could be improved on Filebot end?

You can do a -clear-cache and then run again. If you call the script with dev:script it should never be more than a few minutes behind the latest revision (or 24h without clear cache).

sysinfo will tell you the current fn:script revision which should update once a week:

FYI: if you want the amc script to only process specific files you could pass in those files specifically via many arguments instead of just passing the folder.

On Linux that's easy. On Windows you might need to look into PowerShell.

This was the missing key to finally get the full chain operating properly:

- Sonarr for download
- Filebot for unpack, copy and subtitles.
