those only pop up when I select a file , I could not see anything being produced when its initially started , just always defaults to home , but no log output of that home folder

Normally I do symlinks for FB to rename

then just open them up in filebot

but it now keeps defaulting to my home folder instead of the last opened folder

I actually deleted both my symlink files and the filebot created symlink files and folders
the only reason I had noticed was their was a couple of Live Action TV show's in my Anime collection that was scrapped so they pretty much got immediately nuked

I normally do not use the undo feature ...

actually I think I found the issue when I first did it I never noticed the series name was missing , then everytime I tried with the series name added filebot must have kept using the last results until I forced it with tvdb's number
even after the cache was wiped , so what would have filebot been ...

I symlink files into a empty folder then have filebot rename those Multimedia system's folders for scraping

kodi removed anidb and making us use tvdb / tmdb , and those are needing to be serialized for some odd reason
even tho filebot seems to look them up just fine using their db

pretty much Kodi dumped anidb that I used for all my naming and now need to convert from anidb to tvdb or tmdb

history didn't record some files that were actually processed,
what ever file was being worked on when I cancelled did not get recorded, but it seemed to successfully complete the move before stopping

how ever I broke it again , it seems if you symlink a file while filebot is looking at the folder the symlinks are going to , it then greys out all files again , oh well back to drag and dropping

Ubuntu and 4.8.2 something is just wrong and greyed out files, it worked for the first week I installed it

I'm over a month behind on my media renames now so went back to old faithful 4.7.9 and all working good again

Just updated to 4.7.9 on Ubuntu and now it will not search

Pretty much installed Java 9 yesterday and Filebot seems to now be broken
or it might have broken during ubuntu update last week ..

internal symlinking is not much of a problem due to another filebot issue
( filebot folder renaming actually creating a new folder with required name and moving the renamed files into it )

so now I just put the symlinked files into a working directory for renaming and filebot creates a folder and ...

I keep adding alternate names for Anime into TheTVDB but file bot does not pick them up

Ie

Natsume Yuujinchou is known as "Natsume's Book of Friends" on TheTVDB
but file bot will not find it as Natsume Yuujinchou even tho alias's are added

I have noticed it is getting confused with tbn files in V3 its picking them up as an duplicate episode so i have to add only either the video file or the tbn files for renaming at one time
