Re: Help Request: Run Script From Synology NAS

how did you managed to get it to work??
Are you getting the same Java error?

Run "java -version" and "which java" and see what they say. Do the same for filebot.

I have a feeling some of the paths for java are messed up as they were for me.

Re: Using Filebot on DSM

Yep, again I was looking for the wrong thing. Didn't correlate that MediaInfo was for audio. Running filebot -script fn:sysinfo gives me, filebot -script fn:sysinfo FileBot 4.6 (r3052) JNA Native: 4.0.0 MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.73 p7zip: Version 9.20 (locale=en_US.UTF-8,Utf16=on,HugeFiles=on,2 ...

Re: Using Filebot on DSM

I too have the DS 214+ and am curious if it is possible to get libmediainfo working on the latest DSM 5.2?

If it is, can someone post a bit of an instruction?

Can the 'local' folder be placed in a directory above volume1? I just noticed that the permission editor in the GUI shows the local folder now. I'd like to change this if possible.

Re: FileBot Node Java issue

Looks like I got it all figured out. The Curl command didn't rename the file to java.tar.gz for some odd reason.

Good to know about the windows/linux permission thing. This saves me a lot of headaches.

Re: FileBot Node Java issue

The video seems very straight forward. I've completely blown away all reminant of java, and I am starting over with your video. Now that I'm trying to do this command by command, I've run into a few problems. Firstly, my device has the same CPU as the one in the video. This seems good. I couldn't ...

Re: FileBot Node Java issue

I'm finding remnants of Java sort of everywhere on my Synology. Can someone clear up what symlinks should appear when Java is installed correctly? Before you go to a bunch of work, you should know that when I run 'java -version' I get: java version "1.8.0_33" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1 ...
