Re: Problems with certification

I've updated about 40 of them so far, but Filebot doesn't reflect the changes yet. It seems it can take up to 6 hours from web to API for the new info to be available. Any guesses on why {imdb.certification} sometimes grabs the TV rating rather than the MPAA rating? That info comes from a 3rd party ...

Problems with certification

When renaming certain movies, {imdb.certification} sometimes returns a television certification rather than the MPAA movie certification. For example, when renaming the movie Reservoir Dogs, {imdb.certification} returns "TV-MA" rather than the "R" that I am expecting. {certification} does a better j...

Re: Thank You So Very Much & Happy Holidays

Thanks for posting this. You've articulated my own (and I'm sure many others) thoughts on this marvelous utility!

Window Pane Resizing

It's not a critical thing by any means, but if you're in there making cosmetic changes you might consider making the 2-pane adjustable to help avoid filename/paths from scrolling outside the visible area like so: http://i.imgur.com/3xT9W.jpg I'm not sure how you'd approach it. Perhaps make it autosi...

Is it possible to get just the 2nd or 3rd item in the list?

I am wondering if it is possible to get just the second item in a list, such as the second genre? I am interested to sort movie files using a structure like this:

\genre1\genre2\

Re: ...but that's not what IMDB says!

Is it also possible to get the year with {imdb}? I've tried {imdb.y} and {imdb.year}, but those don't work. Also, is there some kind of list of all the expressions that can be used with {imdb}? Basically, I'm trying to get all my metadata from IMDB, which seems more accurate in most cases.

Re: ...but that's not what IMDB says!

:: UPDATE :: With r1266 I linked the {imdb} binding to omdbapi... /rejoice! This is giving exactly the results I am looking for, thank you! For anyone else following along, the movie format syntax to use this new change is: {n} [{y}, {certification}, {info.runtime} min] {imdb.genres.take(3)} [{dire...

If it's not used, why is IMDB a choice?

...but that's not what IMDB says!

I am using Filebot 3.0 x64 on Windows 7 to rename some movies using IMDB and getting some unexpected results. Here is the movie format syntax I am using: {n} [{y}, {certification}, {info.runtime} min] {genres.take(3)} [{director}] {actors.take(3)} Looking at the IMDB page for Scent of a Woman (1992)...
