Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
Those both work, guess it wasn't the -r flag, it was --action test and it doesn't like either "F:/" or "F:\", only "F:" They also both go recursively with or without the -r flag. Thanks for getting it all worked out, I'm going to fix that up in my duplicates program for...

Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
That seems to work with the latest version for the -mediainfo flag, even on the Root of the drive. Although the duplicate script does not work at all now, root or even the Movies folder. aka: filebot -script fn:duplicates -r --action test "F:\" or filebot -script fn:duplicates -r --action ...

Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
filebot -mediainfo e:\ --format "{f}"
Shows all the files in the main folder
filebot -mediainfo -r e:\ --format "{f}"
Shows nothing, is there something wrong with the recursive flag?

Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
Yeah I understand that, but shouldn't it still recursively go through E:\ to E:\movies, which then contains the xattr data of each of the movies? The folders don't contain any of the xattr data I'm assuming.... Cuz this produces nothing: filebot -script fn:duplicates -r e:/ And this works perfectly:...

Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
hate to drag up my old post again, but I was wondering why it fails on the root of the drive?
aka:
-r e:\movies\ (works perfectly)
-r e:\ (fails to produce any results)
(doing a recursive search (-r))
(oh and e:/ still fails, if the blacklash is the problem)

Is it possible just to leave the format alone?
I'm running filebot mainly to fill the metadata, I'd like to leave the filename alone. I know there's {original}, but that'd involve me running it 2x. Also I've ran AMC on a few folders now, and idk why but it fails sometimes and leaves the files as just ".avi" (while still leaving a huge ...

[Windows] Duplicate Video file finder Application
So I've made a small program (using c#). I tried creating it in java using the filebot source, but it just seemed over my head, so I tied it into a duplicate groovy script. The program finds duplicate videos (even if its not exactly the same (hdrip vs bluray)), but it knows its the same actual Movie...

I had the same problem, I just re-installed the Java Runtime Environment again:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 33155.html
And it worked fine after that

Re: Noob questions on adding to Filebot GUI
yeah I'm a little stuck on the Ant/Ivy build & dependencies... I've followed: http://ant.apache.org/ivy/ivyde/download.cgi So I installed ivy through that, but still comes up with: Project 'filebot' is missing required library: 'lib/ivy/bundle/guava.jar' (and 27 errors involving the ivy library ...

Noob questions on adding to Filebot GUI
Well I'd like to add on to the filebot GUI. I think I've got your entire source from github, and I was curious what IDE you developed on and anything I needed to know. I'm pretty much a beginner in Java, (not coding in general) but I'll find resources and chug along with my little addition. I think ...

Re: Find Duplicate Movie or Episode Files
This technically only finds exact duplicates right? Not repacks of the same episode, nor does it find same movie with different formats? My sort and uniq flags don't work for windows I guess.

Would be cool if you could just use this to revert back to original name too.

Re: [Feature] Ability to Detect and Delete Duplicate Movies & TV Shows
Yeah my problem seems that its not writing the xattr metadata on my NTFS drive. Failed to set xattr: F:\test\Allegiant.2016\Allegiant (2016).avi:net.filebot.metadata https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=324 I've read that page, not sure where this flag is in Java with Windows (sorry for be...

Re: [Feature] Ability to Detect and Delete Duplicate Movies & TV Shows
1. Seems to be over my head still, I've ran a few movies through, but doesn't seem to put anything in xattr, nor does the "uniq -c" pipe work, just comes up with an error being an unrecognized command. I'll keep playing with it and see what I can come up with. 2. I didn't know about --conf...

[Feature] Ability to Detect and Delete Duplicate Movies & TV Shows
I currently have written a rudimentary C++ program that just detects duplicate movies (based off the titles alone) and allows the removal of each one. Your program itself seems way more efficient & accurate because it accesses the online DB to detect the movie. Would be awesome to enable the fea...
