spent the last few days trying to compile mediainfo.
but no luck yet :(

FileBot is using JNA to access native C libs. Try this to make sure JNA is working and that it's an issue with libmediainfo.so issue.
filebot -script g:com.sun.jna.Native.main()

Can't help with with the compiling mediainfo stuff. I'm not really an expert with that and I don't even have the hardware to try anything.
Thats to bad, guess i must live with "fn.match" so.

yesterday i tried some format expressions to get more comfortable with renaming.
My formats where almost exactly the same as your recommendations. Thats Great because than im finally getting into this :D

after recognizing that mediainfo didnt work for me, i found out that my Ds 1812+ is Atom based.
so i followed the instruktions of Eterimos and compiled mediainfo successfully :)

But its still not working for me thats what i get after

filebot -script "fn:sysinfo" -trust ...
