I had this issue just today also. Thanks for the command. Filebot is working for me again!

It sounds like what is happening to me. The 3 dots keep rotating for a long time. But, for me, it does eventually pull up the information that I want. Maybe after asking me multiple times for the same show...but, it works.

This is also happening in windows 8.1. I had installed the latest SE, uninstalled the latest SE and installed the last SE that I had known working...and the platform version still crashed. I went to the previous version of filebot with the last known working version of SE and platform still crashed....
