Ok I think I found out the real issue. The open dialog only lets me select folders and not files... So when I reach a folder all files are greyed out and I can't select them, but I can select the folder and all files within that folder are selected. Having the files selectable would be very good.

Is there any updates on this issue? I'm trying to use filebot through snap and I can't open any files anywhere... even with --devmode. I'm on Ubuntu MATE. On the open dialog I can navigate on the folders but all files are grayed (disabled) and I can't double click on them
