Re: [PSA] Important Discussion of Changes effective as of 28 Apr 2023
Hi Rednoah, Sorry for necro'ing this thread. Is there a way to stop FileBot from printing the [PSA] Important Discussion of Changes effective as of 28 Apr 2023: https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13406 output on every run? I store filebot output into a log so I can check back if things g...

Re: Filebot AMC seems to struggle with anime in the SXXEXX format.
One more question: if my input can randomly be either Absolute or SxE, but I still always want my output to be S00E00, could I remove the ut_label and order altogether, and just define --db TheTVDB, and then AMC will figure it out for me?

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I was sure it was something simple that I was missing, and indeed there it is. It's working as you said now.

Filebot AMC seems to struggle with anime in the SXXEXX format.
Hi rednoah! Whenever I want to use FileBot to add non-recent anime to my server, I can never seem to get the SXXEXX notation working (e.g. S02E04). For some reason FileBot seems to always want to grab season 1, and even when I filter with "s == 2" for example, it will simply find no matche...

Re: Fake/Ripoff version in Windows Store
That is too bad, but not entirely unexpected (we're talking about the MS Store after all, remember Windows phones anyone?).
I've reported it as well, hope that it helps, but probably not.

Fake/Ripoff version in Windows Store
Hi Rednoah! I wasn't quite sure where to put this topic, but I hope here is okay. I was redownloading FileBot from the Microsoft Store, and noticed that there was a fake version that looked suspiciously like the FileBot GUI, with even the same name. It is slightly different, but it seems to me like ...

Re: [FileBot Node] DSM 6.2.4 authentication workaround
Is this a HTTP response you seen in your browser? Or is it a JS error in the console? Is there a call stack attached to that error? Or is this a line from the server-side log? Does the server-side log say anything other than that? EDIT: Have you tried restarting your device yet? https://www.filebot...

Version 0.4.1.1 no longer works for me, even after uninstalling and then reinstalling.
I get the following error message:

Re: [FileBot Node] DSM 6.2.4 authentication workaround
v0.4.0 going to be pushed to the community repository? Not planned for now, since that would break things for pre-DSM 6.2.4 users. But if you prefer to install via the package source, then you can add this package source instead for the latest package: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/filebot/file...

[Feature Request] Synology BETA package source?
Hello, Since I recently did a clean install of FileBot, and thus had to migrate to the beta version, I wondered if it might be a good idea to have a beta package source for Synology? I know the Synology package center supports beta versions of applications by default (there is a tab for it that can ...

Re: Filebot 4.8.5 switching up anime on Synology
As always, you are right. Also, using --format seems to no longer work when order is set to Absolute, so I used --def seriesFormat instead. This results in the following code: filebot -script 'fn:amc' /volume1/video/Completed --output "/volume1/video" --action move --db thetvdb -non-strict...

Re: Filebot 4.8.5 switching up anime on Synology
Thanks for the suggestions! I've gone with option 3. I'll be using --order absolute and converting my filename to airdate using the format from the suggested link, albeit in a slightly changed form. For anyone else who might stumble upon this thread, this is what I've used: EDIT: Code removed, as it...

Okay, I see. Thanks for explaining it clearly.
For some reason it seems to work again for now. I'll report back next week when the same problem will either occur again or not.
Once again thanks for the quick help!

Re: Filebot 4.8.5 switching up anime on Synology
Thanks for the quick response. I'll check if I can find anything with --log all set. The strange part is that I just tried with Kimetsu no Yaiba on its own, and it worked perfectly. Only if I combine it with different files it will act strangely. Does FileBot assume that files in the same folder bel...

[SOLVED] Filebot 4.8.5 switching up anime on Synology
Hi Rednoah, I've come to ask for your help once again. Re: Problem installing Java Installer on Synology NAS
I've got it working using a temporary hack. Step 1: Try to install the Java Installer package from the package center and don't uninstall when it fails. Step 2: SSH into your NAS and navigate to /volume1/@appstore/java-installer/ Step 3: Bypass the SHA256 check in get-java.sh by changing line 73 of ...

Re: Can not get JNA Native to work (and therefore also not MediaInfo)
I renamed the armv8 folder located in /volume1/@appstore/filebot/lib/ to aarch64, and voilà, it worked just like you said it would. :D I was kind of confused as well by the machine being classified as AArch64, since this website maintaining a list of Synology architectures lists my CPU as ARMv8. App...

[SOLVED] Can not get JNA Native to work (and therefore also not MediaInfo)
After updating to the latest FileBot release, I also found out that there is finally a MediaInfo release for my platform (rtd1296/aarch64), yay! However, after installing it, it still does not work. When I run the sysinfo script, I get the following result: filebot -script 'fn:sysinfo' -------------...

Re: [BETA] FileBot 4.8.2 (with support for all platforms with cross-platform license system)
Hi rednoah! Although you now supporting lots of platforms again is great, as someone who recently purchased the Windows Store version for $20, I can't help but have somewhat mixed feelings. If I was only a Windows user, this would be a non-issue, since you decided to keep supporting the Store versio...
